A new river resort has opened in Virula, a village in the municipality of Oliveira de Fradesh. The project was the result of the investment of the family of entrepreneur Fernando Almeida in the amount of 3000000 EUR. The hotel is located by the Vuga River and the Ribeiradiou Dam. The complex includes a villa with two rooms and 12 apartments. Ten of them are panoramic and suspended on columns, some at a height of six meters. Access to the village has now been improved thanks to the completion of work on the access road, previously there were only dirt trails. The territory also has about a kilometer of wooden decking for walking.
