For 100000 EUR, the tax will increase from 3000 to 15000 EUR. When buying on 500000 EUR, the tax amount will be 75000 EUR instead of the current 15000 EUR. The 1000000 EUR transaction tax will increase from 30000 to 150000 EUR.

The measure could affect buyers from Turkey, China, Israel and other non-EU countries. It is unclear how cases of dual citizenship, such as an Israeli passport plus an EU passport, will be treated.
