The most active were the French and Spanish. French capital rose to €7 billion, but Luxembourg's €4.6 billion loss somewhat smoothed the gains of its EU neighbors.

The total volume of foreign investment reached €225.1 billion, which is 71% of the country's GDP. The numbers speak for themselves: the market is alive and growing.
