One of the properties will be a five-star hotel under the Anantara brand - the return of the luxury brand after leaving Vilamour. The second hotel will be four stars, the brand has not yet been selected. The group now has 17 hotels, from Lisbon and Porto to the Algarve.

The plan is ambitious: in addition to the announced two new buildings, the group is already transforming the sixteen-century monastery in Vila Viçoz into a resort. Portugal remains a key market for the brand’s expansion.
