IKEA opens its sixth Portuguese store near Coimbra

IKEA opened a new store at Mondego Retail Park in Taveiro, near Coimbra, on 30 July 2026. The compact-format location offers planning advice, home solutions, circular-economy services and a Swedish grocery section. CBRE's retail leasing team helped identify the site as part of the retail park's redevelopment. The source does not support the Russian post's claim that this is IKEA's largest Portuguese store.
