1,500 Italian apartments under €50,000 now at auction
Italy's property auction market is expanding for good reason—genuine savings are available. State-owned company Invimit, which operates under the Italian Ministry of Finance, is disposing of 474 municipal properties across 33 cities including Milan, Venice, Palermo, Florence, Rome, Turin and Bologna. The total portfolio value exceeds €155 million.
A significant development: prospective buyers may now inspect properties before purchase. Interested parties should submit a request via the Invimit website or contact their office (800 190 569 within Italy, +39 0835700045 from abroad). Viewings are conducted ten days ahead of auction, and two people may attend each inspection.
The sale includes residential apartments, former offices and retail units. Lombardy leads by volume with 53 properties valued at €17 million. All apartments are in good condition and equipped with lifts. The process is straightforward: download documentation from the website, place a bid and participate in the open auction.
