€4.7 million for schools in Portugal: Odemira City Hall prepares grand plan to support education

More than half of the budget – €1.22 million – will go to feed nearly 15,000 children from nursery to high school. Local social organizations prepare their own food so as not to buy products from abroad. This is a plus for local farmers and the quality of the menu.

Another €1.3 million was allocated for the OdETE +Sucesso project: 10 specialists are hired - psychologists, speech therapists, mediators. Plus, libraries will be updated, equipment will be purchased and families will be supported with thaloms on school uniforms.
