35.8% fewer complaints in six months to AIMA Portugal's Integration and Migration Service shows a real leap forward.
In the first half of 2026, the number of successful visits increased by 60% compared to last year. Operational effectiveness is growing steadily, with the average share of complaints falling from 6.9% to just 2.7%. Experts see this as the result of restructuring the work and improving the service.
It is now easier for citizens to leave feedback through an electronic journal, where about 32 praises are recorded monthly. Transparency increases with the quality of care.
