🇵🇹Portugal
Issue No. 352
4.7 million euros will be allocated in Portugal to protect the city of Lurinha from floods. The city administration announced a tender for work to reduce the risks of flooding in the city.
The project is divided into two stages: first, 2.1 million euros will be spent outside the city and will be engaged in 11 months, and then 2.5 million euros will be allocated in the city itself for 23 months. The goal is to strengthen the safety of residents and protect infrastructure from extreme hydrological events.
Investments are needed to increase the resilience of the territory to natural disasters.
