Algarve apartment bank valuations rise

The median bank valuation of apartments in the Algarve reached €3,010 per square metre in July 2026, according to Portugal's statistics institute, INE. This was the second-highest regional figure after Greater Lisbon, at €3,469 per square metre.

Across Portugal, the median valuation for all homes reached €2,240 per square metre, up 0.5% from June and 15.2% year on year. One-bedroom apartments had the highest median apartment valuation by size, at €3,343 per square metre. These figures are bank valuations used in mortgage applications, not completed sale prices.
