However, term deposits fell €21.5 million to €116.4 billion for the first time in almost a year. The growth of the total account was affected only by current deposits. People are afraid of low rates: term deposits give 1.5%, and Certificados de Aforro - almost 2.5%.

Still, 56% of families keep funds in fixed-term deposits.
