From November 5 to 8, hundreds of tourists and hoteliers will gather at Marriott Golf Resort for the Newtour Travel Summit. Grupo Newtour organisers and the Algarve Council discuss new business models and tackling seasonality.

Andre Gomers, the president of the council, stressed that the November event proves that the region is ready to receive delegations all year round. This is a step towards sustainable development of tourism without dependence on the summer months.
