Portuguese authorities have already rebuilt more than 28,000 homes for families. The goal was exceeded, although the Recovery and Resilience plan required otherwise.

During the year, we intend to rent another 40,000 new apartments. Investment in affordable housing will amount to 9 billion euros by 2030. They also plan to build 12,000 units for rent.

The Ministry of Economy received EUR 2.32 billion from the EU. The money confirms Portugal’s commitment to the European Commission to modernise the country.
