Recently, APEGAC made a proposal to change the legislation on associations, but it was not supported by either the Ministry of Housing and Utilities or the Association of Insurers. Hurricanes, however, are still on the threshold.

The Saeima has offered to pay €65 million from the European Social Assistance Fund to help recover from winter earthquakes. At the same time, the Association believes that the lessons of recent months will require a critical rethink of the rules of condo management and the introduction of a single coverage for the whole house.
