Portugal Invitational brings PGA TOUR Champions golf to Vilamoura

Vilamoura hosted the inaugural Portugal Invitational at The Els Club from 31 July to 2 August 2026, Portugal's first PGA TOUR Champions event. More than 50 players aged 50 and over took part, including major champions and Ryder Cup veterans. The event brought professional golf, not tennis, to the Algarve.
